Idea
We used Spotify strength against itself. Spotify has one of the most advanced recommendation algorithm ever made. It has been designed to lock its users in a very comfortable filter bubble by collecting datas every time a song is played, shared or skipped. Giving its users always more of the music he already likes. But if you want to reset it, it’s impossible.
So, FNAC hacked the Spotify algorithm in order to generate the data that will reset it.
FNAC created a playlist on which most of the genres and sub-genres available on the platform will be represented. Every song played from the playlist will slowly but truly mislead the algorithm again and reset it. This is how you burst the filter bubble in which users can unfortunately be.
