Did you know big events are powered with diesel generators? For example, each football game represents a waste of 4000L of gasoil, an ecological aberration. A problem nobody knows about. Enedis, French national power grid operator, knows how to make stadiums greener : simply by connecting stadiums to the public network.
Enedis orchestrates the call for help from the stadium which, tired of being powered by fossil fuels, asks to be connected to a less carbon-intensive energy.
A 360 operation that starts from an outdoor media hack that will start talking in Morse code to all football fans during a highly anticipated event.
Diesel poisons stadiums. To raise awareness about this problem in France and make things change, we decided to use a well-known actor that is directly impacted by the issue: the stadium itself.
The stadium came to life to call for help during the biggest game of the season in Ligue 1 : Olympique de Marseille - Paris Saint-Germain, and sent an SOS signal in Morse code using its LED panels. This is particularly appropriate because Enedis, the French energy company, uses the same functionality every day to turn the energy on and off. By using the stadium's LED panels to transmit the SOS signal, we hope to draw attention to the issue of oil pollution and its impact on public spaces.
